NEWBORN PHOTO SESSION FAQS

  • I recommend scheduling your newborn session within the first two weeks after birth. Babies are typically sleepier and easier to pose during this time. However, I can capture beautiful images of older newborns, too, so don't hesitate to reach out if your baby is a bit older.

  • Newborn sessions usually last 1-2 hours because I allow plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing your baby. We will work at a comfortable pace for both you and your little one.

  • My newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. I will bring all the necessary equipment and props to create a cozy, stress-free environment.

  • To ensure a smooth session, make sure your baby is well-fed and has a clean diaper before we start. Have extra diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes handy. A pacifier can also be helpful for soothing.

  • Simple is best for newborn sessions, but feel free to include special items like heirlooms or favorite outfits. I suggest avoiding anything with too many patterns or logos.

  • Absolutely! I always encourage family participation. These moments are precious, and capturing the love and connection between family members is a beautiful addition to your gallery.

  • Safety is my top priority. I am experienced in handling newborns and use safe, gentle posing techniques.

  • Don't worry! Babies can be unpredictable, and I have plenty of tricks to soothe and calm them. I allow ample time for feeding, changing, and comforting your baby to ensure I capture those perfect moments.

  • If we're shooting at your home, choose a space with plenty of natural light. Clear the area of any clutter to create a clean backdrop. We can use your nursery, living room, or any other comfortable space you prefer.

  • Yes. I offer a variety of prints, albums, and products, which you can easily access in the store via your online photo gallery.

  • I am a mother and understand that babies have their own schedules! My daughter arrived 18 days early!  If your baby arrives early or late, I will do my best to accommodate you and find a suitable date for your rescheduled session. 

  • My newborn sessions focus on capturing genuine moments and emotions. I aim to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. My style is a blend of posed and lifestyle photography, ensuring a diverse and beautiful gallery of images.
